| You know sometimes I don't pay any attention to the dreams I have. I mean dreams just don't make sense. Its like having three or four unrelated movie clips side by side, and your caught in all four stories of each clip. Well, as usual by I hit the hay around 2:30 AM and once you've drifted into that stage of sleep, you begin dreaming. I found myself in my grandparents' front yard. It was as though I was awake and out in the yard. My buddies and I apparantley were playing some kind of game, because I hear cheering going on in the background. It was maybe 45 minutes before dusk. I could see the sun setting behind the neighbors trees. At about this time you can see the moon and maybe a few stars popping up before the sky is completely black. I saw maybe four or five little stars in the sky and all of a sudden, those stars start moving. As they moved they made like this little jet stream and they made this loop and darted towards us. I was speechless as I saw these "stars" move. I thought they were meteors heading for the ground, but as they reached us they slowed up and formed this human like shape. As they landed, I saw three young children. All of which looked like they were around 11 or 12 years of age. Two of them were boys and they both walked over to two of my buddies, while this young girl approached me. She had really long, pitch black hair, a tan face, just a gorgeous looking child. She looked at me and she said, "Lance Griffin?" I said, "Yeah, thats me." I'm freaking out, because I'm not sure how this child knew who I was. She took my hand and said to me, "I'm here to take you home." I am in utter confusion as well as really creeped out. Then when I saw this really bright light above my head, I immediately realized what "home" she was talking about. This amazing feeling of happiness fell over me and I looked at her and I said, without hesitating, "Well I'm ready to go". She smiled at me, jumped into my arms, kissed me on my face, and told me to hang on. I felt myself being lifted off the ground, shooting through the air like a baseball and before I could see where I was I could hear Grandma trying to get me up. As I was thrown back into reality, I realized that the day I go home to heaven is going to be different than that. Plus, I don't think I'm ready to face the Lord just yet. I've lived such a cursed life, that I can't even begin to imagine where my spirituality went. But its dreams like these, that show you that no matter how dark your life is, you need to keep going. Because somehow, you'll make it. | |

| Well another successful production by OVU's Department of Theatre. The first drama I'd ever attempted and oddly enough I managed to pull it off. Kahoa, tonight after the show, told me how I earned my way to this spot where I am now. Last semester when I realized how thankless of a job being a understudy was, I didn't feel like this school's theatre department had room for me with so much competition. I will admit that occasionally I feel like I don't belong in OVU's theatre when I look at the actors around me who are so much more experienced and talented than I am. But maybe Kahoa's right, I don't know. Part of me is glad that's its over, because I think its time for this college boy to stay at home for awhile. The school year will be over in three short weeks and I am more than thrilled. I'm sure summer vacation will help lift the load on me, because so much has happened in the past three weeks, that I haven't had time to catch up. My uncle is in horrible shape, my preacher scared the crap out of me when he had to go to the hospital, and of course, OVU's "high school" drama escalates more and more everyday. This session of rambling has concluded. | | |

For those who think I'm going to die, I must inform you I am not. The spider bite is healing and the venom is no longer in my system. Thank you for the prayers, they definitley made the difference. In other news, the past few weeks of school have been a drag. Waking up at 8:00 every morning is killer. I'm lucky I at least have one day where I can sleep in. Although I will admit Bowling can be rather fun early in the morning with people who can't bowl at all lol I have Expressions practice tonight, because its less than a month away and we aren't prepared. Nick and I are finally living out the plan of being college roomies not to mention its much better rooming with somebody you know. Well Big L has things he must do, so I bid you all a fond farewell. | | |
